Hilary Bower Idea Development Weekends Research - Explore - Create Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 January 2011 10am - 4pm These two-day sessions are an exciting opportunity to work with Harley artist, Hilary Bower They are aimed at participants who value the opportunity to develop their own ideas and work and receive feedback from an experienced artist. The weekend will involve research, drawing, mark making, sketchbook work and group discussion with an emphasis on one to one mentoring and tutorial sessions. These weekends are designed for the advanced person who is seeking a challenge and is prepared to take risks and try something new. These sessions are aimed at committed and motivated individuals who wish to move their work and thinking on, who work in textiles/fibre and mixed media as well as other disciplines. It is also for those who come to textiles via other areas of art and design and who may wish to develop their practice in this medium. All sessions take place in the Harley Foundation Education room, which is situated on the Welbeck Estate. Prices include refreshments and some materials, but participants will need to make their own arrangements for lunch.
