The Café offers a changing selection of freshly baked cakes and scones and homemade soups every day.

The Café serves hot and cold drinks, cakes, scones, sandwiches and salads alongside a changing daily specials menu. Look out for locally produced ingredients, such as the blue cheese Stichelton which is made on The Welbeck Estate.
Homemade cakes and scones are baked daily, and may include Chocolate Guinness Cake, Carrot Cake or Victoria Sponge.
Meals are served until 3.00pm.
The building dates from 1893 when it was built as part of the Victorian gas works. The ‘Lime House’ was used in the purification process of the gas, which was then stored in large, circular gasometers.
