Families

There’s lots for families at The Harley Gallery and The Portland Collection museum.

Things to do for families are available every day.

Head to our Create + Make space for free family activities which are available daily. The activities change regularly, and are themed to our contemporary art exhibitions.

Make sure to pick up a family trail in the Museum and explore the artworks with our nursery rhyme quest. A great way to help little ones to look closely (and the bigger ones might discover something new, too!).

Activity Kits

Carry on getting creative at home with our activity kits, which you can buy from the Gallery and Museum shops. Or try one of our free online Creative Activities.

Art Trail

The new Art Trail is a leisurely walk to nearby attraction Creswell Crags, with sculptures by artists Michelle Reader and Martin Smith along the way. Find out more here.

Facilities

Baby changing facilities can be found in The Portland Collection and The Harley Café. Buggies are welcome in the galleries, and there is a lift providing access to the upper gallery spaces.

Highchairs are available in The Harley Café.

If you’re enjoying our award-winning shopping, look out for our range of pocket money souvenirs, affordable toys and creative kits for children.

We are proud to be a breast feeding friendly venue.
